Q. How did you get started doing this type of work?
A. About 30 years ago, I heard of an opening at an accounting firm. The ad said, must know 10 key by touch. I did not, so I went to the library and practiced all day until I thought I was quick enough. I landed the job and that's how my career started! Now I laugh about this story!
Q. What types of customers have you worked with?
A. Bank reconciliations are the most common. I think people are intimidated or don't know where to start. Let me help you. What would take you all day, would only take me a fraction of that time! You could be doing something you enjoy while I balance your account!!
Q. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A. If you select an accountant and it is not a good fit, either personality or work style, change accountants. Don't stay with someone that doesn't know you or your business.
Q. What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
A. I am very easy to get along with and I have over 30 years experience. I have worked on all types of companies, from dairies, janitorial services, plumbing, general construction, doctor's offices, grocery stores, water well drilling and small stores.
